The Origin

Why Dahab Apartment

Dahab Apartment was born from wanting a place we ourselves were searching for — a space that combines the privacy of a luxury apartment with the atmosphere of an intimate spa.

The name Dahab comes from Arabic and means "gold." It's also the name of a picturesque town on the Red Sea, on the Sinai Peninsula — a place associated with stillness, calm, nature, and extraordinary light. That very atmosphere became the inspiration for our apartment.

We're not a hotel chain or a large lodging property. We're a small team of people who believe that true luxury isn't about excess, but about quality, privacy, and attention to every detail.

Every element of Dahab Apartment was chosen deliberately — from the finishing materials, to the lighting and scent of the interior, down to the amenities and our own signature relaxation rituals. We want our guests to slow down, even if just for a moment, and feel truly looked after.

Our Philosophy

We believe a place can shape how you feel. That's why we created a space that lets you rest — not just your body, but your mind too. A private infrared sauna, a large bathtub, massage chairs, heated floors, mood lighting, and the option to book massages and spa packages create an experience that's hard to compare to a traditional hotel.

Joanna Urbańska

Founder & Creative Director

Dahab Apartment & Spa is Joanna's own project — from the very first concept to the smallest detail of the interior. What began as nothing more than a bare shell, she designed from the ground up, giving it the singular character it has today.

She created the interior concept herself, choosing the materials, the light, the furnishings and the details so that Dahab would not be one more apartment for rent, but a private space of experiences.

Her vision from the start was to create a place people come to not just for a night's stay, but for the atmosphere, the intimacy, the relaxation and the chance to celebrate the moments that matter.

Dahab is the result of her own vision — built from empty walls to every detail that defines this place today.

Luiza makes sure the Dahab experience is as carefully considered as the space itself.

She looks after the coherence of the offer, the standard of every conversation with our Guests and the day-to-day running of the apartment, holding it all to the highest level of service.

It is her attentiveness that makes each stay an invitation to the next — from the first contact through to the last moments at Dahab.

A discreet presence, an eye for detail and the Guest's comfort are inseparable from her many years of experience in hospitality and events.
